Meet Our Team

Kabb Law is an Elder Law and Care Firm in Beachwood, OH, that specializes in the needs of local senior citizens and veterans.

Rachel is the owner of the firm and has been since 2001. She holds a Bachelors in Political Science from the University of Cincinnati and law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. She is a Certified Elder law attorney from the National Elder Law Foundation and the Ohio State Bar Association. She is a member of the adjunct faculty at her law school. She enjoys theatre, dancing and singing in her spare time. She has been married to her husband since 1996 and has two daughters.

Full Bio

Ken is of counsel with the firm and was its founder in 1984. Following a career as a mechanical and medical engineer, he earned his law degree from Cleveland Marshall Law School in 1969. Ken has been helping veterans win compensation from the VA for over 12 years and is a sustaining member of the National Organization of Veterans Advocates. Ken holds a Private Pilots License as well as a Coast Guard 100 ton Masters license and NRA firearms instructor certification. He established the North Coast Sailing School which closed after seven years so he could go off cruising. His sailing adventures included a three year voyage from Cleveland, Ohio to Venezuela and return via Bermuda, Tortola the Caribbean, Bahamas and east coast of the United States.

Rebecca first started off at Ashland University then finished her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Social Work at Cleveland State University. Rebecca has worked in nursing homes as a social worker and interned at University Hospitals Psychiatry in Geauga County. She loves to spend time with her friends and family and watch her nieces and nephew. Rebecca loves to travel and be active. Rebecca will be helping you and your family with any concerns or questions regarding the care they receive at facilities or at home. Every few months I will plan quarterly visits to make sure everything is going well.

Jen has worked with the senior population as an Activities Assistant, and as a Moving Specialist. She has a degree in Theater and has lived in Maryland and Alaska. She is married and has one son, Gabe, and two dogs, Hugo and Coyote.

Darlene or as we call her “Mama Dar” is the heart of our firm. As office manager, she makes sure the lights stay on and that the cases are handled properly. She went to the school of hard knocks and worked for years in Courts and law firms across the area. She loves flying planes with her husband and checking out local wineries. She also loves spending time with her kids and grandkids! Darlene is your go-to person if you haven’t heard back from someone at the firm or need special attention.

While Rich is not technically part of the staff of The Kabb Law Firm, he does share space here. He holds a degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University. Rich helps clients with funeral trusts, annuities, and Medicare supplemental insurance. He is an avid golfer and tennis player and enjoys spending time in Palm Springs, California.

Ollie enjoys long walks on the beach, swimming, sailing and pina coladas. He likes to snuggle with his navy-blue blanket and play with his orange ball. He will gladly accept love and scratches from anyone and everyone. He is on probation with the H.R. department for stealing the lunches of co-workers and for napping during work hours.

Jake was our office dog. His primary job was to check on the employees and clients all day. Secondly he was able to find any rays of sunlight in the office. He loved destroying toys and eating as well as bugging people for food. We miss you Jake
